Original ProductionsWe like to create our own stuff and take ownership of them as well. Presently we are working on a few websites and short films showcasing our talents and interests. Completed Productions: DJ Crash Course: (2004, 19 mins) A short documentary offering a look inside New York City DJ Rey Loki's crash course on spinning and his views on the DJ lifestyle & state of NYC nightlife. Premiered at the Arlene's Grocery Picture Show 2004. Directed, Edited, Shot, and Produced by Omar Solis. Falu Foundation - 15th Anniversary: (2003, 10 mins) A short documentary focusing on the Falu Foundation's 15 years of serving Manhattan's Spanish Harlem community with pre-school, computer training, book publications, and more. Premiered at the Falu Foundation's 15 Year Anniversay Gala. Directed, Edited, and Shot by Omar Solis; Produced by the Falu Foundation and Omar Solis. 2 Boutiques: (2001, 15 mins) A short documentary on two independent fashion designers who each own their own boutiques in New York City's East Village. Directed by Karen Hasher; Produced by Karen Hasher and Omar Solis. 26.2: (2000, 12 mins) A short documentary on the excitement and restlessness encountered while standing on line, waiting to pick up an entry form application for the New York City Marathon. Produced and directed by Omar Solis.
