Screening: Circus Bloody Valentine at Coney Island Film Festival

NEW YORK CITY, N.Y. - September 16, 2005 - Digital Villain Studios, NYC-based design studio and video production boutique, will have a screening of Circus Bloody Valentine, an official selection of the Coney Island Film Festival in NYC on 8/1/05 at 8:00 pm.

Shot by Omar Solis on February 18th, Circus Bloody Valentine in a short documentary-slash-music video, focusing on NYC pop-punk band Valeze and its Circus party, with the hottest up and coming DJs, entertaining bands, and variety acts. Valeze has been described by the Village Voice as 'dance punk revivalists with a sassy female lead.'

"Circus Bloody Valentine," says Omar Solis,"was a very energetic night. I really wanted to give viewers a sense of the high-energy vibe that ran loose that night. It was fun, it was very visual, and, all in all, it was a great rock and roll show." He further adds, "You might have to put the kids to bed for this, since the video itself has some raunchy moments."

The video takes the form of a music video in the sense that it features "Psycho", a song by Valeze. However, interspersed throughout this video are moments from the show as well as comments and observations by those who attended.
