Screening: Rock the Vote with DJ Crash Course on 8/16NEW YORK CITY, N.Y. - August 8, 2004 - Digital Villain Studios, NYC-based design studio and video production boutique, will have a screening of DJ Crash Course as an official selection of the Freight Film Salon on 8/16/04 at 7:30 pm along with 4 other shorts. The screening will be featured as part of Freight's "We Love New York - Rock the Vote" Night. DJ Crash Course is scheduled to open the evening's proceedings. Shot, cut, and directed by Omar Solis, DJ Crash Course is a short 19-minute documentary offering a look inside New York City DJ Rey Loki's crash course on spinning and his views on the DJ lifestyle & state of NYC nightlife. Digital Villain Studios offers Front-end Design solutions in addition to Interactive Design, E-commerce, Hosting, Video Production, Flash/Video Conversions, Rich Media Advertising Production, Video Production for Cable Access, as well as original content showcasing the talents of its members. The series promotes a diverse slate of selections from animation to docs to experimental shorts. Films are screened on a 6 foot projection screen, two plasma screens and four monitors.
