Screening: Ready or Not Times 4 at NewFilmmakers NYC

NEW YORK CITY, N.Y. - March 1, 2005 - Digital Villain Studios, NYC-based design studio and video production boutique, will have a screening of Ready or Not Times 4 as an official selection of the NewFilmmakers Winter Schedule at the Anthology Film Archives on 3/23/05 at 7:00 pm along with 4 other shorts and a feature film. The screening will be featured as part of that evening's "NewFilmakers Shoot Movies" Night.

Shot, cut, and directed by Omar Solis during the course of one weekend, Ready or Not Times 4 is an experimental short 4:20 minute film about 4 characters in search of 4 different things.

"I am very pleased that Ready or Not Times 4 is featured with NewFilmmakers," says Omar Solis. "Ready or Not Times 4 was a great learning experience, and I am extremely happy to see that it gets a chance to be screened at such an important venue."

The NewFilmmakers Series provides filmmakers a showcase to share their work with New York audiences and critics at one of independent film's leading theaters. Sponsored by Barney Oldfield Management and Angelika Entertainment, the series began in 1998 at Anthology Film Archives and has screened over 350 feature and 1200 short films.
