"NYCSingle offers event listings, news, articles and other resources, though what sets this site apart from other singles and dating sites is the ongoing weblog, offering commentary on the singles lifestyle as well as New York City itself" says Omar Solis, founder and principal owner of Digital Villain Studios. "While there are many fine sites out there with singles events, the goal of NYCSingle is to provide a unique voice via the blog format so popular now online. This led us to develop our own blogging tool. While we really like the various blogging software products available, we really couldn't pass on the challenge of developing our own interface and back-end structure."
